It is on the left side of the road as you walk north through Kumkale village towards the fishing port. It was built in 1983 in memory of the staff of the 14th Battery who resisted the enemy French forces who landed ashore on the morning of April 25, 1915 and lost their lives on 28 to 30 of April by the enemy opening fire from the sea.
